The late Ayatollah of Iran had issued a fatwa preventing the development of nuclear weapons.
The new Ayatollah is looking to reverse the fatwa, and to put the country on a path towards intercontinental ballistic weapons and nuclear weapons.
Looks like Israel & US managed to convince Iran that it need nukes for self-defence.
