@ltning quite possibly… there was a big merger, and they just fired whoever seemed to have duplicate roles. so now they have something like 11-14 legacy systems, & integrations devs gone. i'm sure AI will fix it right up

@benteh I once got (more or less) fired from a tech company, and then returned years later for a very successful stint there as a senior manager.

Getting fired doesn't mean you're useless Sometimes it just means you weren't what your employer thought they needed at the time. And sometimes they were wrong
