If your nuance is coming from a place of "thing is getting too much blind hate" without considering that while maybe /blind/ hate is bad, but the backlash its getting is more justified than its continuation...

then you're not being nuanced, you're being a shill

@airakose "it's nuanced" became the default tech guy comeback for "i know my position is basically indefensible but i don't want to admit it" and i'm sooo done with it

@whitequark @airakose "It's nuanced" is also extremely popular in foreign policy in my country. International relations are fundamentally complex, but "it's nuanced, you don't understand the nuance" is frequently used as cover for outright atrocities.
