In the span of hours, I have read no less than five toots with negative sentiment towards email. Please note, I am not saying this sentiment is not valid.
But my naturally conspiratorial mind is like, "uh is there something specially wrong about email today?" LOL
Cause, it wouldn't surprise me to see "news" about email being "the worst thing since communism" and then the same "news" saying that email is better now if you only add "AI".

@afreytes@mastodon.gamedev.place Bringing you the latest, YouMail
️ in an innovative new email system build from the ground up for AI. Why wait for an email response when you can simply generate responses from your friends and loved ones. Need to see what Aunt May is going to bring to the potluck, "send" "her" a YouMail and get an instant "reply" every time! Looks like Aunt May wants to bring her traditional cigarettes and French fries hot dish! Yum! -

@afreytes administrating it is kind of a nightmare, but overall I think it's pretty great if misused. I wonder what you've been seeing though

@RethinkJeff I don't know what you are talking about. Exchange is a joy to use. The most intuitive mailserver ever made. You will never lose a single email. Ever.
To top it all off, it's prescient, in how fast it works.
Everything should run on an Exchange server... It pays for itself.
Nothing comes close. Not even the Golden Gate.

@afreytes It's not your fault that "tech-bro bullshit" and "dark patterns" are basically the same thing.
