Protests matter.
These companies have PEOPLE in them. People who have to tell their dates or in laws where they work. People who have to see protests outside the office window.
Denver activists ran #Palantir out of the city and then handed their playbook to the activists in Miami, where Palantir moved.

I've been dealing with evil people for a long time, and I used to be on my own with it. What I can tell you, since I'm still here, is they're paper tigers. The are masters of manipulating cowardice and greed, but have no idea how to handle strength. Even the slightest show of courage from people without privilege or weapons scares them shitless-- and it shocks them! Show an evil person courage a thousand times, and they're still shocked the thousand and first. They never learn.
They are weak.

Most people have at least witnessed the fallout of an abusive relationship and it's the same as when a victim leaves: the abuser is just stunned. How could this happen?
They never account for courage because it is not in them.
Putin and Co. understand the cowardice and weakness of the US elite, but cannot begin to understand the people who are rising up all over the country. They wouldn't do it, so they didn't think we would.
Are they ever in for some unpleasant surprises.

Anyway, I gotta go! It's a national day of action against ICE and I've got a bridge to protest on.

@MaryAustinBooks Company indoctrination must be something else if they are JUST realizing this.

Thanks for the reminder. I forget that phrase "paper tigers."
Perhaps it would all do is good psychologically if we assume every little push from the powers that be is posturing and likely unenforceable.
