One thing you didn't mention is slow mode. Sometimes the feed whizzes by too fast, which is quite frustrating, but it can be halted so you can read at leisure. It lets you move up and down manually. In Preferences: Animations and accessibility, tick Slow mode.

Apologies if it's off topic here but a feature I'd love to see, a key one of the Twitter app Tweetings, is ability to compress a timeline.

When a new post from someone followed appears all unseen posts are ostensibly removed -- collapsed into an outline behind the latest.

It made it catching up fast and efficient. One could skim over less important content while being sure never to miss any from important follows.

@Gargron I seemed to have missed something during the lists explanation. You said moving an account from your timeline to a list. Does adding an account to a list remove it from Home?
