Just finished reading both Space Dragons books, and I really really enjoyed it. (I think I count @vicorva among my favourite living authors. They have such a talent for sucking me into the worlds they create.)
It's set in a world in which dragons provide the means of faster than light travel, with a diverse cast of interesting people. It took me a while to get used to the mental image of a dragon with feathers, but the little details like Luxorian preening their feathers really helped with building the image.
So I enjoyed myself with a little doodle of Luxorian...

thank you! This means so much to me!Also this Lux is *stunning*! You can really feel their enormous size. And that thick tail is perfect for curling around their crew!
I think this is the first art I've seen of Space Dragons. It has filled me with so much joy.
