Hey, it's Portfolio Day!
I'm a fiber artist (and freelance technical writer). I dye, spin, knit, crochet, weave, embroider, and more. I combine these skills/crafts in my work. Lately, I've been embroidering with my hand-spun yarn. This piece is the latest one, I'm calling it "Because It Is Bitter, And Because It Is My Heart" after the Stephen Crane poem "In the Desert."
