        @volpeon
        Yes but it seems to be coded by garbage AI, we would love that kind of client created by real people for real people.

        I think we need to improve Movim (https://movim.eu) instead!

          @codimp What makes you think it's coded by AI?

              @rakoo @codimp I feel there's some nuance between "bootstrapped with AI" and "coded by AI"

                @volpeon @codimp there is a difference in degree, not in nature: exploitation is less problematic than my comfort

                  @volpeon

                  So, currently:
                  - Doesn't explicitly support other server software apart from ejabberd, and doesn't seem to work with server I normally use. (may be a bug with specific release) Couldn't quickly test it because of that.
                  - Used LLM in early stages of development as indicated by blogpost, doesn't clearly disclose it in repo.
                  - Is based on web framework, though instead of Electron it's Tauri which uses webkit or native Windows webview depending on platform.
                  - No guilds, voip, etc, so discord theming is kinda just a visual flare and marketing trick.

                  I don't know if it was really needed to make it Discord themed apart from hype, but more xmpp clients that at least (hopefully) work wouldn't hurt.

                    @tiredbun @volpeon seems to work fine with Prosody for me 🙂

                    it's missing OMEMO though 😞

                          @volpeon friend of mine had set one up a few days ago. It works but only browser based right now. Have been told they are working on getting a stand alone app
