    @ErinRose is it actually possible to tread on an EU plug? I've never done it.

                I usually take a pen for this. Btw. I met these sockets in Uganda for the first time and learned the trick there.

                      @frank yeah the longer ground pin pushes on a plastic piece that opens the cover in front of the live and neutral
