Let’s look at the track record. Equality and prosperity go hand-in-hand. When there are super large corporations and super rich people, they have all the decision-making power.
It doesn’t matter if what the lobby before is not harmful, because the disproportionate decision-making power/influence is the cancer

Absolutely agree. If lobbyists exist, then every vote is an auction regardless of if you, as a lawmaker, are selling or not. The entire mechanism has to be removed because, and you may not believe this, we demonstrably can not trust lawmakers to do the right thing.
