The win here is that 1) “driving out the rich harms us” is bunk and 2) Mamdani did this WITHOUT significant cuts to public spending.

@MugsysRapSheet more of this please. Everywhere. Globally. The rich must pay their share, they have evaded fair and equitable taxation for too long. Anyone else would have gone to prison for tax evasion!

No.First, they ALREADY don't live there (otherwise, the property wouldn't be empty.)
Second, part of the value of the property is that it's in NYC. It's not like these millionaire investors will just buy properties in Milwaukee.
