    An abandoned drive-in movie theatre. One of many such relics that sit overgrown and forgotten by the roadsides across America.

    This one first opened in the 1940’s. It thrived until the mid-1990’s, when the local town forced the closure. The owners fought in court to overturn the order to close.

    The cinema was briefly reopened in 2000, despite good attendance, the town authorities forced its closure once more.

            @jpaskaruk @sennoma
            The adjacent road became a highway over time. Exit and entry was dangerous, so the cinema had to pay for police escorts to help (but after finding them sleeping on the job they refused to pay). Health and safety was the end of this cinema sadly
