A Wyoming lawmaker is introducing legislation to end one of the cruelest practices still legal in the U.S.: chasing, injuring, and killing wildlife with snowmobiles on public lands.

This isn’t wildlife management. It’s wildlife being pursued by machines, struck, injured, and often left to die.

The world watched in horror last year when a young wolf was allegedly run over with a snowmobile and later paraded in a bar. Yet under current law, using vehicles to chase and strike wildlife

is still allowed and accountability has been minimal.

The new bill would finally draw a line by prohibiting motorized vehicles like snowmobiles and ATVs from being used as weapons against wildlife on public land, while still allowing legal hunting and predator management.

This is about ending needless suffering. Please use your voice and ask Wyoming legislators to support the introduction of this bill. Wolves and wildlife deserve better!
