The shame of having to request medical help from the Danish plus actually revealing how close the US have been deploying nuclear powered submarines to #Greenland’s capital, Nuuk is quite something…it had to be immediately covered up with a grand bold #Trump gesture of a medical ship.

A ship that would prevent the US having to be humble and seek help from Danes ever again

@JugglingWithEggs And for added shame and patheticness, it's a makey-uppy hospital ship that only exists in an AI-generated image. Much shame should fall too on the journalists and media outlets in Denmark, the US and other countries reporting on this as a straight news story, once again letting the Trump regime pull their strings.

But equally #Trump and #Vance may be trying to prevent the world realising it was actually the Danish who came to the rescue of an American submarine crew on Saturday:

‘#Danish Arctic Command evacuates US submariner

Trump's post on Saturday came after Denmark's Joint Arctic Command said it had evacuated a US submarine crew member who required urgent medical attention.

The submarine was in #Greenland's waters, seven nautical miles outside of #Nuuk.’

The US president said a vessel was "on the way" to Greenland, with the move coming amid a rift between the US and Europe over control of the island. Greenland and Denmark hit back, saying no medical help is needed.

I hope that submariner looks every doctor, nurse and staff directly in the eyes and remembers them before he’s sent to kill them.

@JugglingWithEggs I recently read about the US Navy charging sailors for food while they are at sea. I dread to think what their health care must cost them. No wonder that crew member wanted to get to a Danish hospital they'll probably claim asylum

Free Greenland/Danish healthcare vs. US insurance based healthcare?

The latter leaves between 44,000 and 90,000 dead a year because they don’t have cover. It also leaves 550,000 families bankrupt a year from medical bills.

This is classic ‘photo op going over the heads of leaders direct diplomacy’ from #Trump but smells of #Vance.

I read his statement as classic Trump projection. He feels ill, and he thinks he's not being treated effectively. Senility is like that, I fear.
