Tuktut Nogait: Land of the Young Caribou
One of Canada's most remote and least visited parks, Tuktut Nogait in the NWT lives up to its name, which means 'young caribou' in Inuvialuktun. The park was established to protect the calving grounds of the Bluenose-West caribou herd. Its canyons and tundra are so pristine that it remains a landscape largely untouched by modern human activity. #Canada #TuktutNogait #NWT #Wilderness
