My wife's in hospital with a suspected stroke. She went mad gardening the other day (she's older than me and doesn't realise she may have to take it easy) and has been having trouble walking since. I tried to get her to go the next day but she didn't want to make a fuss.

Anyway, they're doing a scanner but that can only reveal a positive. She'll have to wait until tomorrow morning for the MRI scan.

    Sitting at home shitting myself.

@davep Shit that's terrifying. Good luck. FWIW, my dad had a stroke years ago and despite sneaking him out of the hospital, he's mostly okay now. I hope it works out well for your wife and you.

@davep Wow, hope she is doing okay and the scans/tests do not show any serious damage. As for you, take some deep breaths and try to relax. You certainly don't want to end up in the hospital as well. Wishing the best outcome for her. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

@davep My wife is older than me. A week and a half ago she had a fall (tripped over a box left on the floor in the cafe at the medical center) and broke her arm. Then spent a couple days in the hospital. Sheโ€™s home, and cranky. Itโ€™s going to be a long slow road to recovery.

@davep I've got no words to help. I can tell you to stay calm and deal with facts as they come, but that won't be the reality of it.

I can say I feel for you and hope for some good news tomorrow.
