FollowerPower: Does anyone have the datasheets, pinouts and/or developer documentation for the following devices?- Motorola Iridium 9500
- Motorola Iridium 9505
- Iridium 9505A
- Iridium 9522
- Iridium Core 9523
- Iridium 9555
- Iridium 9575
- Iridium 9575 PTT
- Iridium 9602
- Iridium 9603
- Iridium 9604
- Iridium 9704
- Iridium DBL Interface / Port
- It's Some cursed proprietary thing on an RJ-45 connector...
I'm about to get some of those and considering to setup a bounty to get these up and running...
- There's like a crate of 9505 phones staring at me and all they miss are batteries, SIM cards, chargers and maybe some antennas.
- Batteries are easy to source; worst-case gotta wire up some DC/DC adaptor to make it think it always got 3,8V or something...
And no, neither Motorola nor Iridium feel the need to make documentation available!

@Netzblockierer Many iridium manuals are listed at Manual Machine. e.g.
https://manualmachine.com/search/?q=iridium%209500&id=21100535&key=iridium9500
Some have developer docs as well as user guides.

@Davi_Dblees I know, but the manuals I'm loking for ain't the consumer / device manuals you get when buying devices, but the developer / accessory manufacturer documentation - which is usually under NDA.
- None of the public manuals list the device connector pinouts and voltages…
- If I had a working charger for the Irdium 9500 / 9505 I eould've already found the charging pins with a multimeter.
But thanks.
I'll keep a look at it and see if they got what I'm looking for.- Will amend this post if that helped…

@Netzblockierer for the dc-dc adapter , there's an official 12v fag lighter charger available - I use it with my 9505a

@chewie The problem isn't the 9505A and subequent models that use a 6V DC barrel jack, but the 9505 & 9500 with a proprietary 20-pin connector…

@Netzblockierer ah, bugger. Maybe you can get car chargers for them too?

@chewie That's the problem:
The chargers (or their cables) are failing & frailing so much you can't find them even used at a reasonable price.
- And because of the proprietary connector you can't just adapt a cheap DC/DC brick to it…

@Netzblockierer ah, I see, that's annoying
