    @MLE_online that makes the glaze pattern look even more impressive. I thought you had made the vertical parts but it was just gravity and heat I guess!

      I've been want to try chattering as a finishing technique, so i made some chattering tools yesterday and gave them a try this afternoon. Pretty fun

                                but this is what I've been aiming for since I started playing with wood-ash glazes. It's really nice to see I've finally gotten there on my fourth formulation.

                                Edit: In case it's not clear, this vase is not my piece. It's his. The bowl higher up in the thread is mine.
