LOL, okay, the guy who bought the bike from me two days ago has relisted it today for twice the price on Craigslist.

(perfectly within his rights to do so, but was really hoping someone would buy it to ride it, not try to make a profit off of it).
This would explain why he was so suspicious, as he's apparently the dishonest kind of person he was worried about 🤨

@ai6yr Every accusation is a confession applies to much more than politics, it seems. People tend to see themselves in others.

@coolcalmcollected @ai6yr 100%.
If they frequently accuse you of lying (and you don't have a history of that, obvs), they're probably a liar.
If they frequently worry about you cheating, be sure they'll cheat if given the chance.
Accuse you of stealing? They're probably the type to steal.If a boss ever accuses me of slacking on the job, I know everything I need to about their work habits.
Going back to politics, it does make all these accusations about corruption by current officials a bit revealing, doesn't it?

@ai6yr So Habitat for Humanity doesn't just give their houses to the recipients. They sell them for just enough to cover the cost and let them reinvest the money in building a new one for someone else. But they also do something clever: they place a second mortgage for the difference between the sales price and the fair market value, which they leave in place for 10 years or something. That way, the new owner can't turn around and resell for a big profit without waiting for a promised period of time.
