Actually, that's a sign of trust. A cat licking themselves near or on you means they think you are safe to be around.Edit: Although, admittedly, it doesn't FEEL like trust when cat's butt is up in your face.

@realtegan @ai6yr @stacey_campbell there's potential to be a lap friend then. OP needs to be chill, and have some of Sly's favorite snacks around, like rotisserie chicken or cat tübe.
