    Walking through a parking lot

    "Squeeeaaall! Grind!!!"

What is that awful noise?!?! Someone's car has serious problems!! That sounds like it's broken!!!

    (More horrible noises)

Oh, apparently Cybertrucks can't make left turns without sounding like they are falling apart. 🤣

@ai6yr There are a few in my area and I seriously don't understand how.

Like, I understood the desire when they first came out. They were new, people don't make good decisions. I get it... stupid happens.

But NOW? I saw one with a paper plate a few weeks ago.

@jackryder @ai6yr I see about 5-6 every day, and there are some annoying truths that I think factor in here.

      1. If you want an electric pickup, there is functionally one (1) choice.
      2. A lot of people are so intentionally ignorant of what is happening in the world that yes, even now, they won't get it.
      3. A bunch of dudes (almost exclusively) are incorrigible trolls and enjoy how mad you are about it.

@mttaggart @jackryder @ai6yr I see so fucking many of these in the Phoenix, AZ area.

          So. Many.

I don't understand it. They're not even good. I wouldn't take one for free.

@mttaggart @jackryder @ai6yr The Rivian R1T and Ford F-150 Lightning are both better pickups than that pile of shit.

@Mustardfacial @jackryder @ai6yr Oh right, Rivian! The F-150 Lightning is no longer in production, though.

@Mustardfacial @mttaggart @jackryder @ai6yr I came here to mention Rivian, which I see more here than I did in New England.

@mttaggart @jackryder @ai6yr The Chevy Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV will be adequate replacements.

@ai6yr I would say here it's about 50/50, but then again I'm pretty close to Hawthorne. And more Rivians by the day.
