@ai6yr Sounds like they’re talking about Derecho, which would be a shame. It just went live at the end of August 2023. It’s dropped from 59th place when it was built to 160th place as of November’s rankings, but that’s still eminently usable.
I wonder who’s going to end up running it. My guess is LLM grifters with the NCAR continuing to foot the bill for power.
