A5 In Poulsbo, WA, I found a street named Waagedahl. I am still tickled about it.

The name comes from a region on the west coast of Norway, and was gratuitously attached to the (very few) emgrés from there to the USA as a surname, including one of my ancestors.

The term means, roughly, a peaceful green dell or meadow. A cliché for modern developers, but it did not look like a housing development at the time.

sometime this week I"ll find the pic of teh Pig sign. Miss Sue is TIRED. I was deemed "indefatiguable" in a speech this week (I wasn't there but 3 people told me about it from our college's 60th anniversary thing.) YES the speaker also knows it's biking that is underneath that.

A5. A common sign out at Ft. Ord National Monument. Ft. Ord was an active base when we first moved here, with many field training exercises involving live munitions.

Here's one from Ferndale, CA that I've never seen anywhere else and I think is a good thing for folks to keep in mind...some people work night shift. #BikeTooter
