      The artist has a bunch of informational videos on how to play one, too. This is SO COOL.

          @lilithsaintcrow A really good theremin player is always a delight. (Not to mention a near miracle).

              @lilithsaintcrow That technique! I've gotten a chance to play around on a theramin, but never been able to get control like that -- the gesture techniques she's using seem like amazing ways to nail precise notes, (the vibrato, honestly, is the least impressive thing since the default setting on a theramin is vibrato; it's turning it off that's the hard part!)

                @lilithsaintcrow Carolina Eyck! She's a theremin virtuoso, and is pretty much THE authority on the instrument, as she invented her method for mapping gestures to tones.

                And I love her rendition of Ecstasy of Gold!

                  @lilithsaintcrow
                  She is super impressive!

                  Peter Theremin is also excellent and really lovely. I took lessons via Zoom from him.

                  Coralie Ehinger also plays excellently and helped tune the OpenTheremin design.

                    @lilithsaintcrow idk if a theremin can but she can. I’m pretty sure she nearly single-handedly pioneered this precise style

                              @TCMuffin @lilithsaintcrow Using a tremolo to get the note separation is a stroke of genius, and the precision in hitting those notes every time is just amazing!
