I really can't believe it's in only a week. I very much expected myself to get more worried as the date got closer but I'm getting more relaxed. I will wake up. If there's complications I'll get them fixed. I have people to help me post op. I have a good therapist.
I cannot comprehend never having to worry about being pregnant or being pressured to get pregnant ever again. There will be no way another partner can coerce me to "change my mind" about it. Everyone can be an asshole all they want, it will be impossible. There will be no carrying grandchildren. There will be no accidents. There will be no birth control my body seems unable to handle. There will be no period scares. I will never have to live in fear of my own fertility ever again.
Like, holy shit dude. -

@emily_rugburn I'm getting one taken out. Everyone kept giving me conflicting advice on whether it was safe to not have them if I'm going to be take testosterone forever sooo I figured I'd keep one anyway. Somewhat annoyed because I did finally learn that it is safe to get them both removed if I'm taking T buuut I feel it's way too close to the surgery date to change the plan and I guess it's good to have an emergency hormone anyway.
