The pull/merge request style workflow really slows me down immensely. In theory it's a good idea to have code reviewed by other people, but mostly other people are busy doing their own thing and it's like pulling teeth trying to get approval. Then you get the type of person that just endlessly nitpicks on things that don't really matter.
