#BuffyI have tinfoil about the Joss aspect considering the additional timing of the Firefly announcement within the same weekend, which features a cast FULL of people that still eat his butt. idk I don't think he's as gone as he seems at all, he was a ghostwriter for years and I'm sure he's still Hollywood's little secret. This whole thing reeks of vindictive man

@setmeravelles Indulge my tinfoilery further here as I do irrelevant investigative journalism: so this Erwich guy was actually the EVP of Programming at Fox at the time that Firefly aired, which led me to think "yeah, he really does hate Whedon shows cuz they sure fucked that up." However it turns out he now also oversees 20th Television Animation, which is producing the Firefly reboot and has explicit approval from Whedon.
So was he team Firefly at the time? Is he really a hater, or was he just devaluing Sarah's project to support his ole buddy while he simultaneously greenlights the other show? 🧐 -
