    @meadow@lgbtqia.space I want as little pressure on my toes as possible, but for the sheet to stay in place. That means just the sheet gets tucked and leaving extra room

      @emily_rugburn @meadow

      To fall asleep, I'm usually sprawled out, with one knee out and the other arm forward, kinda half on my tummy. So for me, burritoing is not ideal cuz I need to stretch and turn around

        @meadow
        For me it depends how my feet feel. If my feet are hot, dangle. If they are cold, tuck.
        But if I had to choose one over the other as an always thing, tuck.
        What about you?

        @An0n
        If my feet are cold, I tuck. I do not let them dangle because I have four blankets on me and that weight strains the ankles. If my feet are too warm for tucking, I just pull my blankets up and leave a foot uncovered to serve as the thermal regulator. However, I sleep with a 12" fan blowing directly on my face, so usually my head, and possibly a shoulder, will serve as the thermal regulator before one of my feet does. Usually a foot is the last choice before exposing our torso. If it's that hot, I'll turn on the air conditioner, though we're months away from needing that here, even with me sleeping 4am to noon most days.

          @meadow@lgbtqia.space i'm a side sleeper, and while i prefer the dangle, i sometimes need the tightness of a tucked blanket, so i tuck it between my feet

            @meadow I wrap up in the blankets like a human burrito.

            But then somehow in my sleep I move the blanket all over the bed, like I'm tossing a giant pizza dough. (I have no idea how or why I do this, but it's a superpower I invented from my father.)

              @meadow i grab a blanket from the pile of blankets on the bed and drag it over me. tucked blankets are awful though, it makes me feel trapped.

                @An0n the burrito only lasts about 5 minutes.

                  I always wind up on my back somehow. I must move around in my sleep a lot. But ifni try to fall asleep on my back I can't sleep. Which made getting both ears pierced at once challenging

                    @AdaraAstin @meadow I'm a small enough man at 5'4 to where I have the choice on either. Still mostly do the latter rather than the former but I'm glad I have the choice.
