          @Tutanota On desktop I alternate between Librewolf, Mullvad, and Tor. Mobile is Vanadium because GrapheneOS is the way to go on mobile.

          I left Firefox when Mozilla lost its way and started incorporating AI features and making questionable choices.

                @ftranschel @Tutanota To be honest, it took me a day to figure out that Librewolf is configured to delete all website data on close πŸ˜…

                But no other problems so far πŸ™‚

                  @vp9kf Vivaldi is based on chromium, just like Google Chrome. So they won't be able to support uBlock Origin either

                    @Tutanota

                    Brave ain't it. They should not be recommended.

                    Why I recommend against Brave

                    If you are keen on personal privacy, you might have come across Brave Browser. Brave is a Chromium-based browser that promises to deliver privacy with built-in ad-blocking and content-blocking protection. It also offers several quality-of-life features and services, like a VPN and Tor access. I mean, it's even listed on

                                This is obviously LLM generated SEO slop. "Their privacy Shield combines features you can only get on Firefox by adding certain extensions like NoScript and HTTPSEverywhere." HTTPS Everywhere was sunsetted in 2023 and every browser since 2021 has a https everywhere function natively. There's also nothing new about MV2 and uBlock here, it's just clickbait. Very dissapointing!

                                    @Tutanota Basically Firefox on every device I'm currently using

                                    If my Blackberry was still supported, I'd be trying to run it there too. Somehow...

                                    @cypnk @Tutanota I've been usind and enjoying Waterfox. On my distros it's only available as a flatpak, which complicates a few things, but not by much (and probably worth the isolation). It's very much "Firefox sans BS" but I'd be happy to see them and other "forks" just wholesale abandoning FF as a base and establishing their own "core".

Very dissapointing!

                                          and why in gods name would you put puffin on the list. it's literally browsing but in the cloudβ„’, there's zero reason to mention it on a privacy / security focused list
