@virtualbri Once they ruled out a podcast or a bobblehead that I kind of guessed it was going to be an animated show because I couldn't see them doing a live action.
My other guess was a possible audio book.

I think it's time is done, as much as I loved it. Adam Baldwin and Joss Whedon have both tarnished it.

I don't know if the the preview for this is going to show up, but Nathan Fillion is talking about pitching a Firefly animated series with Marc Guggenheim of the Arrowverse and Tara Butters of Agent Carter and Dollhouse producing.
Guggenheim has also won an Emmy for writing on Guillermo del Toro's animated series' Tales of Acadia, so animation experience.
They have all the pieces together but a network to have it on.
I loathe the idea of some of the people getting money off of this, but....

@deathkitten and Adam Baldwin is an absolute nut job. Fine to restart this without him. It’s only going to survive with new audiences, so why not retool?

As far as we know, Whedon isn’t continuing to do mass harm, making new Firefly less problematic than Hogwarts.
