️pilot falcon nibs are wonderful.
i have a 912 with spencerian mod to it that is as close as i've ever found to vintage super flexible nibs.

@paul_ipv6 it's such a lovely writing experience - smooth, easy flex with the slightest pressure. my sole complaint is that since it's so responsive it's almost impossible for me to use it for everyday purposes - printing with it is a hot mess, and it doesn't work well for writing quickly. but since that's not what I bought it for, it's hard to find any faults. from the moment I tried a falcon nib at a pen show I knew I needed one.

my "normal" handwriting is so bad i don't use fountain pens for anything day to day. it's all for relaxation, calligraphy, personal notes, etc. since my $DAYJOB is all tech, i'm finding more and more of my hobbies are analog.
