    LOL ๐Ÿคฃ
    Unfortunately the eggs aren't fertile. I thought about getting a male for Sherbert, but I don't think it would go well ๐Ÿ™„

      @Lorraine
      Does she try to incubate or do you remove them?

        I let her keep them for 21-23 days, like it would be in the wild. Then I take them out and she's a happy camper again after about 10 minutes ๐Ÿ˜€

          Also, if I take them away any earlier, she'll just lay more eggs. Before I knew better, we ended up with 13 eggs in a row!!

              When I left the house this morning, everything was perfectly fine. Six hours later and Princess has gone and laid a THIRD egg!! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿฅš ๐Ÿฆœ

              I've never known her to have a clutch this large! Poor thing must be exhausted! ๐Ÿฅฑ

                @Lorraine this might be a weird question but if they're not fertile, are they edible? ๐Ÿค”

                  @Lorraine hormonal season is crazy! Sometimes it can be mitigated but yeah sometimes it's just about getting them through it

                    Ya know, I'm not sure! If I HAD to guess, I'd say they are edible. I would imagine eggs get eaten by predators in the wild so ... ๐Ÿ˜‰

                          @Lorraine @pomegranate_stew I imagine that originally her color is just simple yellow and the redness around her eyes are for warning as some sort of defcon level.
