Speaking at a Reform-branded podium that erroneously labelled him Shadow Home Secretary, Zia Yusuf laid out Reform’s proposal - dubbed "Operation Restoring Justice" - to create a "UK Deportation Command" tasked with meeting deportation quotas of hundreds of thousands of people annually.
Zia Yusuf was Reform’s largest donor in the run-up of the 2024 general election before he was made party chairman and later, spokesperson for Home Affairs.

The Shadow Home Secretary is a position reserved for the official opposition party with the largest number of seats in Parliament besides the government. That is currently the Conservatives. Reform UK is the sixth largest party in Parliament and has 8 seats to the Conservatives’ 116.
The UK already has a deportation force, but Reform’s ramped-up model has been likened to Donald Trump’s rapid recruitment and aggressive deployment of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents across the US.

Reform UK has announced it would create an ICE-style agency to oversee the deportation of illegal migrants if it were in government.
Zia Yusuf, Reform's new home affairs spokesperson, said on Monday morning that a Reform government would establish a UK Deportation Command.
Its task would be to deliver "Operation Restoring Justice" to fulfil the party's plan of deporting 600,000 illegal migrants.
