I am convinced Reaganite centrists will be asking me to "remember McGovern" every four years until the day I die, while insisting that the numerous winnable elections they've punted by running a Blue Dog Republican-in-disguise like 2004, 2016, 2024 are "in the before time."

These are not honest actors, they will say anything to retain power.
