What is up with #apple touchscreen devices lately?

I hope it’s because I’m on beta releases.

Scrolling/swiping apps lately has gotten hard. The last few days it’s gotten absolutely impossible.

Anyone else out there have issues simply swiping a page up/down or left/right on an iPhone or iPad?

Now I’ll date myself.

Since I was a kid, I’ve read the newspaper most every day. My parents were LA Times subscribers, and all these years later I continue the practice.

I gave up printed copies some years ago but I still subscribe to the digital edition. I read it on my iPad.

Each day begins with reading the morning edition; the comics are the sacred moment of the day for me (my wife is rolling her eyes and yet nodding in agreement).

Today, I can’t get through even the first few pages. No matter what I do, the pages won’t scroll when I swipe right to left. One swipe in ten will move to the next page; mostly it just moves the page a little then snaps back to the current page.

I thought maybe restarting the app might help, but I can’t even swipe the app up to close it in the usual way. So it’s not the app: swiping is broken.
