I keep hearing contradicting reports on this. Last one seemed to say that the often-quoted 5.9 * 10^5 number of pre-orders was sourced from some mutter on some wildly unreliable anonymous account.

@briankrebs Shipping a physical product with a service attached is already a nightmare. Tacking on a user data leak from what's likely a shoddy backend... couldn't be me. The App Review process for my 27 apps is stressful enough; I can't imagine this level of mess.

i think equifax just showed the government wasn't serious about pii and now that the grifters are fully in control its all just up for grabs until its all going to be out in the open and worth zero but still a huge burden to private citzens

@briankrebs well they got scammed so why aren't they suing Trump for it? He stole money directly from them which is a mailable offense therefore they just need to take him to court and a judge will sentence him no matter what corrupt shit he tries. Everyone thinks its pointless to sue this criminal president, but the law will hold up in a court and he will simply go to jail if the jury decides a guilty verdict.
