For the first time I ever I looked at Polymarket. It boggles my mind that the most liquid market is on the price of Bitcoin, volume ~34M USD. Like there is already a direct way to bet on that, it’s called Bitcoin.

I am often naive and slow about these things. But wha does this mean? Some casual investors just find it more convenient to bet on Polymarket than actual Bitcoin? Some traders want to take advantage of a less informed, more manipulated platform?

@neilk There are so many things about today's culture and economy that don't make sense to me. I think this is just part of getting older.
