    The weather right now here in northern Colorado, USA is *weird*. Yesterday, I saw a spider zipping around on the sidewalk...in the middle of *winter*. And today, a field we drove by had large green patches...in the middle of *winter*. Poor nature is all askew.

      @AncTreat5358 Alpine central Europe here and it must be a month ago (end of Jan beginning of Feb) that I saw first bees and other insects becoming active. It's freaking me out, it's insane! This is out meteogram for the upcoming week (in F for your convenience, in C it's 2-16°):

        @tildalwave Oh my! Bees are so sensitive and are dwindling, at least in my part of the world. I fear for their safety.
