Teaching the reviewers something in your submission shows that you have the expertise and can convey it, which is what they are looking for. Stop submitting talk proposals with 5 bullet points, no in-depth details, and most of your time dedicated to the introduction and recap; they are boring to read and cannot be trusted to be valuable to the community.
