    I am going to have bite the bullet and buy a new phone soon.

    Any recommendations or avoid like the plagues for phone models and/or telco providers?

    Context: I'm a NZ-based Android user with limited budget and limited tech skills (I can do the basics, but I'm a user not a developer!)

    Thx!

      @curiousjay

      Try and find something that offers security and OS updates. For as long as possible.

      Personally I stick with Pixel models as they are Android generic and get those updates. Promptly.

      The last two models I had 7a and 8a were used devices, once later models were released and we're more than satisfactory.

      The 9a is now available new at reasonable prices so that might work for you? πŸ™‚πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
