As I was writing piles of LaTeX this week, I realized that its the same "reward" that people seem to get from AI Coding. Write "code", see document update with changes or fix breakages. Do this until complete. You get that hit of dopamine but you are doing the work.

I'm using local tools, so I'm not feeding someone else's bot with my writing and the itch to create get scratched with honest writing.

But oh man, the PROFANITY at LaTeX sometimes.
