Do you have recent ancestors who weren't American? I have a couple buddies found Canadian grandparents and got their passports that way, I think some other countries have the same thing. Maybe UK, Ireland, Netherlands?

Yeah, good point. I *think* binary trans people are pretty safe there; certainly safer than in the States. Worth investigating, maybe?
