Prior to AI, when a student was having difficulty with a lesson it was easily observed and could be addressed on an individual basis, to the students benefit.

Prior to AI, when a student was having difficulty with a lesson it was easily observed and could be addressed on an individual basis, to the students benefit.
With AI, it is possible for a student to complete a lesson while avoiding concepts, thinking and to completely miss the point of the lesson - a beginining working set of concepts that will eventually lead to understanding.Churning out students that have used AI to achieve passing marks will lead to a place where there is little understanding of how to apply the most correct solution applicable to the problem at hand.
The problem becomes determining who as an individaul has made the effort to learn and understand and who has not.AI is not the problem.
