    There are days when Alice has what I call "bad brain days". This typically happens when she is anxious about something or when there has been a lot of unexpected changes. #parenting #downsyndrome #SpecialNeeds

      To be fair, I think everyone has them but they are more likely to interfere with her ability to just get through the day. Today, however, was the polar opposite. She was having an excellent brain day.

        I usually do meal planning and work with her on her shopping list on Sundays. She was on top of it today. While I was transcribing, she walked around her kitchen telling me everything she needed, rapid fire. I think the kinetic aspect helped her.
