@zackwhittaker Not being defeated by my nasty long-term illness. Feeling cheerful instead

What did you (or someone you know) do this week that you're incredibly proud of?
@zackwhittaker managed to debrick (and it was PROPERLY bricked) a switch I bricked last week trying to put OpenWRT on it. I'm shocked I didn't ruin the chip or lift any pad as many times and as clumsily as I cycled it in and out

What did you (or someone you know) do this week that you're incredibly proud of?
@zackwhittaker On Monday my daughter competed in her first national-level fencing competition. Seeded mid-20s (out of 40) she finished 10th, just outside the cut for the quarter-finals. She out-performed all the fencers present that she'd lost to while qualifying to represent her region, while hobbled through not having her coach present (only me, and I don't fence with her weapon) and managing her period.
It was a storming result for her, AND she knows how she could have done better!

What did you (or someone you know) do this week that you're incredibly proud of?
i have taken all the random toolboxes, milk crates, shelves, paper bags, etc with all the tools i've accumulated over the years and gotten them into one single tool box system, logically sorted by task/function, and gotten them all labelled.
will be donating all the random orphaned tool boxes to a local charity store and my garage looks vastly better.
