I saw an interview with Adam Levine lead singer of Moroon 5, he’s a simple multimillionaire and yet he said - It’s really fucked up when you can do anything you want and still be successful. -

That is clearly true, yet they exsist.
Is this a failing of us, the common people, or of the human condition, of which we are all affected by?
And of course... what to do?

Tax them heavily until there are no billionaires@Christo_459 I seriously doubt that that is enough. In fact I think it is an idea put about because it is more palatable to the public than what is really needed, laws to stop the accumulation of such wealth.
It maybe a good first stepping stone I guess.
Mind you, such laws would need to be world wide, and that will be tricky.

@eclectech Quite the treatise. For me, the observation that removing consequences for bad actions is the key. Why does anyone do anything? Why does anyone NOT do something they want to do? In repairing our society, we will need to create durable consequences for anti-social and/or criminal actions.

@eclectech It is disturbing. It frames the ultra rich in a way that feels so accurate based on their actions. Great read.
