If you think folks are going to let things like this get built in their communities and operate with impunity, you have another thing coming.

If you think folks are going to let things like this get built in their communities and operate with impunity, you have another thing coming. I'm not saying they should be sabotaged; I'm saying they positively will be.
This AI data center will be bigger than 2,000 Walmarts and dump '23 atom bombs worth of energy' into the environment every day — and locals are terrified
This project could physically alter the landscape for humans and wildlife

@mttaggart
They are attempting to build a #LNG powered #ai #datacentre in our community, literally abutted against a massive nature preserve, and unbelieveable coastal hiking trails.No one wants it. The mayor and counsel lie about it with every breath saying it's not a done deal. The billboards are all over town.
Myself and many members of my community will commit sabotage against it at every stage.
This is a given.

When these elected officials go against the will of the public, the only option left is sabotage. Fuck these greedy bastards.

Totally unrelated but I'd expect a lot more drone regulation coming down soon

@mttaggart I remember that Apple was not fond of drones filming above the Apple campus while it was being built.

@AAKL @mttaggart Sounds like in a ( sci fi or real ? ) future a war against AI will raise .. NOT against futuristic robots AI controlled a la' Terminator, but against "megacorps" that reduced lives of people to a dystopian hell because of their AI data centers ?

@mttaggart tbh sabotage is probably the most moral and ethical thing to do with a monstrosity like this -
