It should come as no surprise to my followers that I utterly abhor and despise the current U.S. president Donald Trump.
The last weeks he added another point on the "why" list.
The heads of the Iranian regime are baddies. They are ruthless mass murderers and they are exporting violence and terrorism. And I don't doubt for a second that they would love to have nuclear weapons.
But by shitting on every diplomatic carpet presented to him, Trump makes the Iranian regime look sane and rational in comparison.
Trump has handed that collection of corrupt religious nutcases a wagon load of prestige one a silver platter.
Even worse: Trump has stabilized the Iranian regime. By killing school children and other civilians he has made himself an even worse enemy to a lot of the Iranian people than the current regime.
Everything Trump has done was clueless and without any understanding of the realities in another part of the world.
