I just finished “The Mercy of Gods”, the first book of James S.A. Corey’s “The Captive’s War” series. It took more than a few chapters to grab me, but ended up being a good book! I don’t think it supersedes “The Expanse” IMHO, but it’s a great start to the series. I have about six weeks now to squeeze in some other book before #2 of the series is released in mid-April.

@iamdoon I also loved the novella they put out too.
Really excited for the second book.
